Hi CAUpdate readers,
I've been writing songs for about a year now and I've been encouraged to perform some of them and upload the songs to YouTube.
This is my first video, Hot as Hell Lockdown Blues.
It's a recent composition that reflects on the convergence of the pandemic, the protest movement and the administration's respinse, and most currently the hot as hell temperatures that have come to my home in the Sacramento area.
As far as I know both the words and the music are original.
This is my first time recording so I'm a bit uncomfortable with singing, singing to a camera, and messing with the technology—but one has to start somewhere and some time.
